Questions

Who are the Boosters?

The Boosters are parents, families, alumni and corporate partners who give financial support to Boise High School. We also coordinate staff appreciation, newsletters and grant programs.

What does it mean to become a Booster Member?

Members make a financial contribution that supports their student’s school experience. Once your contribution is processed, you’ll receive a swag bag with your membership items. Many families renew every year.

Do I need to be a member to get involved?

No. Membership is the best way to be fully involved, but everyone is welcome. Booster meetings are the second Tuesday of each month at 3:30pm in room 402 at BHS, and they’re open to all.

Why do the Boosters fundraise?

To support the 3 A’s at Boise High (Academics, Athletics and Activities), fill resource gaps and enrich the student experience.

How do the Boosters fundraise?

Two ways: the Booster Membership Program, where members direct their gift to a specific area of the school, and community events like Boost the Brave, our free, adults-only fundraiser that kicks off a month-long online campaign.

How are memberships organized?

There are Family and Corporate memberships, each with four levels. Family memberships focus on getting families involved in school events. Corporate memberships focus on recognizing businesses that support BHS.

Is my membership tax deductible?

Please check with a tax advisor to see whether your membership qualifies as a tax-deductible donation. For a receipt, email boisebravestreasurer@gmail.com.

Do the Boosters accept company matches?

Yes. We can process company matches as direct donations. Email boisebravestreasurer@gmail.com for help or a receipt.

When and where can I use the Game Pass?

The Game Pass is a punch card for all home team events at Boise High School, the Boise Athletic Complex (BAC, 300 W. Fort St.) and Dona Larsen Park (150 S. Broadway). Games at Dona Larsen where BHS is not the home team are not included.

Can I buy a Game Pass without a membership?

No. Game Pass punch cards are a membership benefit and can’t be purchased separately.

Is there a senior discount?

Not at this time, but we appreciate every member’s support.

What is reserved parking?

Reserved parking is first come, first served at the Boise Athletic Complex (BAC) and Dona Larsen Park. Placards mark the spots at BAC, and the Athletic Director sets aside spaces at Dona Larsen for each BHS home game.
