Why do the BHS Boosters fundraise?
How do Boosters fundraise?
The BHS Boosters generate financial support through two primary pathways: the Booster Membership Program and a Biennial Auction, with the next auction scheduled for February 22, 2025.
• Booster Membership Program:
This program allows members to make directed donations to specific areas of their choice for the current school year. Memberships are categorized into Family and Corporate groups, providing tailored opportunities for involvement and support. Last year Booster members contributed over $43,000 to Boise High programs and over $50,000 as of January of the 2024-2025 school year.
• Biennial Auction:
Funds raised through the Biennial Auction are allocated as grants over the following two school years. These grants address requests from school-affiliated groups, teachers, departments, or programs. Applications for grants are submitted each fall and are reviewed through a structured process managed by the BHS Booster Board, ensuring fair and effective fund distribution. Over $45,000 was distributed in Booster grants during the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school years.
How are Booster Memberships organized?
Booster Memberships are organized into two distinct groups: Family and Corporate. Each group offers four membership levels, with higher levels providing additional perks and benefits. These tiered membership options allow individuals and organizations to choose the level of support and involvement that best aligns with their interests and goals.
• Family Memberships are designed to enhance family involvement in school events and foster a sense of community within and around Boise High School.
• Corporate Memberships prioritize opportunities for brand promotion and corporate recognition, providing businesses with valuable visibility and engagement within the BHS community.
What does choosing an Activity/ Athletic designation mean?
When purchasing a Booster Membership, you have the option to designate your support for specific programs at Boise High School. The possibilities are nearly limitless, reflecting the wide range of offerings at BHS. You can choose to support one or multiple areas, tailoring your contribution to align with the interests and needs of your student and family. This flexibility allows members to directly impact the programs and activities that matter most to them, fostering a vibrant school community. Examples of areas to support include but are not limited to:
• Athletics: Boys’ and Girls’ athletics, including both school-affiliated and club teams such as Basketball, Soccer, Football, Cross Country, Track, Mountain Biking, Swimming, Lacrosse, Rugby, Softball, Dance, or Cheer.
• Music, Arts, and Performing Arts: Programs like Band, Orchestra, Jazz Band, Visual Arts, or Drama.
• Classroom and Departmental Programs: Support for AVID, World Languages, Sciences, Mathematics, English, Social Studies, Business, Health, Library services, Academic Support, Student Assistance, specific teachers, or individual classes.
• Specialty Programs: Initiatives such as Yearbook, Newspaper, Student Leadership, DECA, or student clubs (view the full 2024-2025 Boise High Club).
• Booster Programs: Contributions to Teacher Appreciation initiatives or the General Fund to support broader Booster efforts.

When and where can I use the Game Pass?
The Game Pass is a punch card that may be used at all home team events held at Boise High School, the Boise Athletic Complex (BAC) located at 300 West Fort Street or the Dona Larsen Park located at 150 South Broadway.
