October is our month of giving. Let’s Boost the Brave and raise $37,500 by the end of the month!

  Boost the Brave is here and going strong….we just surpassed 50% toward our goal. This year we are keeping it simple: donate directly to support grants that enhance Boise High’s Academics, Arts and Athletics. Our goal is $37,500-just $25 per student- and if we reach it the whole school celebrates with what the students really want.. an extended lunch period.  Let’s do this together!                GO BRAVE!

 Fundraiser Q&A:

  • New This Year! This year, instead of the traditional biannual gala, the Boise Boosters are launching a brand-new parent social event called Boost the Brave. All are encouraged to attend and we’d love to have a lot of participation at the event as this will be our main source of fundrasing for the year!
  • What It Is- It’s a casual, open-house style happy hour at Payette Brewing on Sunday, September 28th from 3 to 6 PM—come and go as it works for your schedule.
  • Why Come- It’s a great way to meet other BHS parents, get your questions answered, purchase tickets to upcoming community parties and win some awesome prizes.  Let’s kick off the school year feeling connected.
  • Tickets & What’s Included- Tickets are not required for this event but at the door we’ll be selling $25 tickets that includes a drink coupon and one entry into a raffle with some great prizes. Opportunities for purchasing additional raffle tickets, sign up for parties and BHS swag will also be available.
  • Kickoff for Month of Giving- This event also kicks off our month-long giving campaign throughout October, where we aim to raise $37,500—or $25 per student—to support BHS’ 3 A’s: Academics, Activities, and Athletics. You’ll learn more about the fundraising campaign at the event but check back for a link to the campaign giving page on this page in the next few weeks.
  • Why Give- Donations from this fundraising campaign provides grants for teachers to use for specific needs within their programs that aren’t funded and help pay for teacher appreciation activities throughout the year. All donation amounts help so please plan to participate if you can and help us reach our goal!

Remember this is our “BIG” fundraiser this year, just because it’s casual doesn’t mean it’s not important.  Please show up and bring along any and all Brave supporters!
